In the middle of Chapter 3 of the series, it is revealed that Killer Killer is actually an official side story for the Danganronpa series, taking place after "Ultra Despair Girls - Danganronpa: Another Episode" and before "Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy"
